The fermentation time of Oolong is between that of green and black tea. That is why he is also called semifermented. Depending on the duration of the oxidation, the taste goes more in the direction of black tea or green tea. The best oolong varieties come from Taiwan (Formosa) and from Fujian Province in China. The Oolong Formosa Dong Ding by Duphil bears the name of the mountain in Taiwan, where it is cultivated.
